1975 Mercury Bobcat

When I first came across this car I had no idea what it was.  From the remnants of the badges I could see it was a Mercury Bobcat but I had never heard of it before.  Additionally, it seems to have the MPG package.

It turns out, the Mercury Bobcat is simply a rebadged Ford Pinto!  While the Pinto was made from 1971-1980, the Bobcat was only made from 1974-1980.

This one had a lot stripped from it.  But not much from the engine.  

I have no idea what size engine is in this one.  But I did find that the MPG package means it has different gearing ratios (and that's all I could find about it).

Interior is toast.
