1978 Mercury Marquis

First off, this one is in rough shape: paint, interior, everything.  In any case, this was the last year of the 3rd generation of Marquis.

At one point I'm sure it was a great looking car; it is similar to the Buick Electra.

Yikes, look at that.  Also, the odometer showed 78xxx on it (it was only a 5 digit odometer),  But I suspect that it was probably 178k.

I like the design features of the door panel.

Likely the 351 or 400 (5.8L, 6.6L) engine.
